SAP
BUSINESS ONE runs on WINDOWS
SAP BUSINESS ONE the latest from the ERP giant SAP
(pronounce Es-Aye-Pee) runs only on Microsoft Windows at both Workstations and
Server.
Workstations run on W2K professional or XP and
Server runs on W2k advanced server or NT 4.0. Got a product review from SAP AG,
Germany.
This another graet company which I love-the ERP
giants.
Hey heard some of the textile companies in Tirupur-
the textile city in Tamil Nadu, India have started using SAP products. They say
it has increased the production level and management efficiency.
The initial investment of 40-50 Lakhs does not
matter. That’s what they say!!!

Thanx a lot BSNL, Chennai Telephones
Even during these days of Privatisation phenomenon
the public sector services are showing there usual job. My telephone is dead.
But this time for a noble cause.
It has put a break to my recent internet mania.
These days I have been online most of the time. Probably busy doing some stuff
regarding Microsoft Student Club and my activities as Microsoft Student Champ.
Due to the wholehearted efforts of BSNL and my
telephone going dead during these days of consecutive holidays, I have been forced
to start preparing for my exams as less than a week is left.
Thanx a lot BSNL.

Nice to listen to them
Yeah, today I got a chance to listen to some of
their talks. Attended the monthly meet of Local
Linux user Group since iam a member of ILUGC. Seems to be nice. Industry
ppl talked on Network Scanning and Subversion.
Went late for the meet as we( Bala, Arvind and Akil
(they also r Microsoft Student Club members!!!!!)also accompanied me) got lost
in the jungle at IIT Madras. ( We were also fined by the local authorities for
violating the traffic rules of the campus)
Any way, we could completely listen to the talk on
Subversion – a CVS kinda stuff.
Hats off no mention to mono.

Girls of the techy-kind
I became a member of the Community of Student Champs
across the country.
http://groups.msn.com/schampindia
Seems to be an interesting place where the first
time in my life I could see some really techy-kinda girls. Yes, really the girls
there seem to have some kind of vertical thinking. Believe me, u cant find a
single girl like that in my college. There do exist one or two but they never
showcase themselves.

“We
don’t want Microsoft Guys”
‘We strictly dont welcome any
Microsoft guys. Please don't apply highlighting your
Microsoft Skills, your application will
be deleted on such occurrences.’
This was a caption in an online job advertisement posted by Linare Corporation ( U.S. based Linux development firm ) for hiring some Linux Geeks (that’s how they call them) for their Chennai Technical Development Center.
These ppl also seem to be active members at the Linux user group here.
Oh god, can he imagine how it would have been if those Microsoft Guys did’nt exist?
